Fiestas in the area of Monemvasia

Carnival: Crazy all nighter in the centre of the outer town with attractions that include music by local groups, the burning of carnival and enjoyment accompanied by plenty of local wine.

Easter: Picturesque procession of the Epitaph in the narrow streets of the castle with the accompaniment of the local band, the impressive burning of Judas in the central square of the castle. One of the best-known sights in Greece.

The liberation of Monemvassia: (July 23rd) with many attractions organized by the town, such as the burning of the armada, and concerts with different artists, etc.
